The stars came out in their glamorous best as they walked down the red carpet to witness the much awaited awards function of the year. The show was kicked off by Shah Rukh Khan wishing a very happy birthday to Bollywood with his entertaining and energetic act which he specially sung for his entry performance. Stunning and svelte Anushka Sharma swayed to the romantic tracks of fifties and sixties like Parde mein rehne do, Saiyan dil mein aana re along with her latest movie's number 'Oh boy oh boy charlie'. In the midst of all the glitz and entertainment, the envelopes were opened on stage to reveal super talents and award winners of 2012. The winners accepted the coveted black statuette with excitement and fervour. This year the black lady was embellished with a golden plate to celebrate the 100 years of Hindi cinema. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Late Yash Raj Chopra for his outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema as director, producer and script writer. One's of his films' leading lady, Madhuri Dixit presented this prestigious award to his wife Pamela Chopra.
