Show description
Janki (Rekha) gets married to Ramcharan (Farooq Shaikh). But the two of them are thrown out of his home when her family is unable to meet their dowry demands. They go to live in Ashok's (Shafi Inamdar) house. But when Ashok tries to molest Janki, the couple is left with no choice but to leave. After a few months Janki gives birth to a baby. Ashok attacks Ramcharan leaving him paralysed. Janki takes him and the baby to Bombay and takes him for treatment. She takes up a job as a labourer. When Ramcharan needs to undergo an operation, she requests Girdharilal (Prem Chopra), her boss, to lend her money. He insists that she sleeps with him. An angry Ramcharan attacks him but is killed. Janki swears revenge.
