Raj (Raj Babbar) is a photographer who falls in love with the beautiful Radha (Rekha) and they get married. But soon, Raj has an accident and is paralysed below waist. He is confined to a wheelchair. He loses his job and the treatment is also expensive. Radha decides to find a job and becomes the governess of the wealthy Ashok Mehra's (Rajesh Khanna) little girl. She does not know that Mrs. Mehra used to look exactly like her and so the child is happy to let her take care of her. Watch the film to see what happens when Radha finds out Ashok's motive in employing her.
