From flight crew to check-in, from paparazzi to passengers, and from catering staff to immigration, Matt Lucas and David Walliams take a side-splitting view of Britain's busiest airport and the people who work in and pass through it every day. We meet Omar Baba, the owner of FlyLo, Britain's eighth favourite low cost airline. Omar is a chubby, scandal-prone charmer. He remains defiantly upbeat – even though FlyLo's staff are on the verge of striking and its finances are woeful. Among Omar's staff is Taaj, who is more interested in whether the documentary crew are filming in 3D than he is in doing his job. Over at the check-in desks are the perky Melody and Keeley. Melody is saving up for the second half of her breast implant operation, and Keeley is busy fending off the attentions of Tommy Reid, who works in a burger bar in the food court. He's hoping to work his way up to become a pilot, but finds burgers challenging enough. Then there's Precious Little – a jolly, busty West Indian lady who works at the coffee kiosk. She's a potential target for Ian Foot – the patriotic Chief Immigration Officer. His keen eye for illegal foreigners is only tempered by his lack of geographical knowledge – "There's no such country as Liberia".
