Extreme Trains is an immersive voyage through the nuts and bolts of the transportation that helped connect the world. Matt Bown is an all-American, real-life railroad conductor from New England, brimming over with an infectious passion and enthusiasm for the engineering marvel he gets to ride at work everyday. In Extreme Trains, Matt will take viewers for a soot-covered, steam-powered, high-octane ride of a lifetime getting down and dirty with the most incredible rail experiences in the USA and all over the world. From the highest to the longest to the fastest to the strongest railroad engines and train lines the world has to offer, Matt's going to do much more than check out the scenery going by. We're going to wake up at the crack of dawn with the world's blue collar railroad employees to see the human blood, sweat and tears that make these mechanical beasts of iron and steel blaze trails across the world.
