The 2011 Friends Life t20 will be the second season of Englands premier domestic Twenty-20 competition. The teams in the second season of the Friends Life t20 remain the same as the previous season. The Hampshire Royals will enter the season as defending champions.The schedule of the tournament has been one that has been widely criticised as the season is deemed too long and therefore certain games had very few fans. The winner and runner-up of the tournament qualify for the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 qualifying stage.
