Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan) is a high school student who has a loving family and many friends. She disappears one night and two weeks later is found unconscious in the middle of the woods. Aubrey has forgotten who she is and calls herself Dakota Moss, a character that Aubrey had created for a story that she had written at school. Will she ever get back to normal? And who had abducted her?
