Show description
An atmospheric interference sends communications world-wide into a chaotic situation on July 2. Soon the military get to know that many enormous objects are about to collide with the Earth. While it is thought to be some kind of meteor, it is revealed to be a spaceship controlled by aliens. David Levinson is an ex-scientist who finds out that the aliens are going to attack at major parts of the world in less than a day. This includes New York, Los Angeles and Washington. There are convoys sent and people rush to Area 51 to save themselves. The survivors fight back against the aliens and July 4 becomes humanity's Independence Day.
