Show description
Avantika (Kareena Kapoor) teaches at a university in New York. She rushes back home to Delhi when her father suffers a heart attack. She takes up a temporary job at the Delhi University. She meets Ehsaan Khan (Saif Ali Khan), also a professor at the university. They soon fall in love. Avantika gets a call from New York to rejoin the university there. Ehsaan is keen to accompany her and they get married. But Avantika's life changes forever once she reaches New York.
