Kishore Lal is a politician who murders a reporter forcing his wife, Sabitri, sons Amar and Chandan and daughter Maya to run away. But the whole family scatters. Chandan gets adopted by a police officer and grows up to become one himself. Amar is against troublemakers and becomes a police informer. Maya turns out to be a con-woman.
