Just as Bud and Carrie prepare for the arrival of the newest member of the zoo, Michigan's Upper Peninsula is hit with an early and unusually harsh winter storm. But life never stops when you've got over four hundred mouths to feed… There are cages to clean, enclosures to shovel out, and a wild stallion that needs rescuing from a neighbour's farm. As temperatures continue to fall, a snow white tiger's pregnancy leads both to joy and tragedy.
