Sagar (Sunil Shetty) is a secret service agent who is given the task of protecting Meenal (Raveena Tandon), wife of Pratap Rai (Danny Denzongpa). Meenal has suicidal tendencies and Sagar's job is to stop her from doing so. The two get quite close and Meenal falls in love with Sagar. When he refuses to reciprocate, she commits suicide. Sagar is quite upset that he was not able to do his duty well. He takes a break from service and goes to Goa on a holiday. There, he meets Namita (Raveena Tandon) who is the mirror image of Meenal. Is Namita what she says she is?
