Jordan (Ranbir Kapoor) is a Rockstar, a total rebel. He refuses to confirm to any rules. While he has millions of crazy fans from around the world, Jordan could not care less about his fame. Not long ago, Jordan was Janardhan, a wannabe musician studying in a college. He meets Heer (Nargis Fakhri) and decides to woo her, hoping to be ditched by her. All this because he had been told that great music comes after suffering a depth of pain. It is not long before he realizes the truth behind that advice.
