In this sequel, Henstridge portrays Eve, a government experiment concocted to gain an understanding of how to combat future aliens. When astronaut Patrick Ross (Justin Lazard) returns from the first manned Mars expedition, he's hailed a hero, but becomes infected with the same alien DNA that spawned Eve. Ross starts to impregnate many women, with embryos quickly developing and killing the mother. Scientists realize that Eve has a telepathic link with Ross, and that these two hybrids hope to couple. With the future of humans in jeopardy, they plan to use Eve to lead them to Ross and to put an end to the deadly alien species.
