Show description
The film is set in the year 1836. General Sam Huston needs time to get his main force into shape before clashing with General Santa Anna and his Mexican army. Sam orders Colonel William Travis to delay the army on its way. Travis' small troop gets bigger by groups under Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett. But when the situation gets desperate, Travis tells them that they could leave if they chose too. Will Travis be able to buy Sam the time that he needs?
