Federal Hill

The story is about five young men who face their choices as they become adults in Providence's Italian neighborhood, Federal Hill. First is Bobby (Jason Andrews) who owes $30,000 to a counterfeiter who's demanding payment; second is Ralph (Nicholas Turturro), a gifted cat burglar, who comes up with a plan to help Bobby. Third in line is Ralph's best friend Nicky who falls hard for Wendy (Libby Langdon) the fourth one, a rich blond from Brown, and begins to imagine a future with her away from Providence. Ralph wants to prove that Nicky (Anthony Desando) is making a big mistake but is in for a heady fall when he insults Frank's dad, who is one of the Hill's top mobsters, when he wanted to have a talk with Ralph about some of this plan. The film is a winner of the Critics' and Audience Awards at the Deauville Film Festival.
