Pushkaran and his son Kunal settle in Bombay after they are forced to leave Kashmir by the terrorists. Kunal grows up and gets a job at a gym. One day he is informed that his father had fallen from the train and is deceased. After his father’s funeral Kunal is contacted by his relatives and is informed that his father had promised to look after a girl named Renuka. Kunal agrees to fulfill his father’s promise and happily receives Renuka. After spending some days together Kunal and Renuka decide to get married. They are provided with a free hotel room for their honeymoon. After a few days, they are arrested in the charge of pornography. Renuka is forced to sign a statement in return of Kunal’s freedom, which she does; unaware of the fact that she has implicated Kunal in the matter. When she realizes about it she commits suicide. Kunal is shattered with the death of two of his dear ones following one after another. He escapes from the police and starts the search for the person behind his life’s wretchedness.
