Meera (Hema Malini) as a child, asked her mother, while seeing a Baraat, who would be her bridegroom. Her mother casually points towards an idol of Lord Krishna and replies HIM. Ever since then, Meera considered herself to be Lord Krishna’s bride. The Rathods of Merta had an ancestral fued with the Sisodiyas of Chitor.
