Rani Maa's(Reena Roy) husband The King is killed by the evil Prime Minister Man Singh (Naseeruddin Shah) of the neighbouring Kingdom. The Prime Minister then cleverly blames everything on the King , the father of Rajkumari Viahaka (Madhuri Dixit). Rani Maa swears to take revenge of her husband’s death by killing Rajkumari Vishaka. Man Singh also has a twin brother who is naïve. Rani Maa is shocked to know that his son Rajkumar (Anil Kapoor) is in love with her enemy’s daughter rajkumari Vishaka. Rani Maa opposes their marriage while the Rajkumar is trying his best to convince his mother. Now it is up to the mother and son to decide whether it is in their best interest to include someone in the family, who has killed a husband and a father respectively.
