Superman II

Superman (Brandon Routh) on his return finds a Metropolis that doesn't need him anymore. His lady love Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) has also moved on with another young suitor Richard White (James Marsden). Meanwhile to save the Eiffel Tower from getting blown up with a hydrogen bomb by a terrorist group, Superman launches the bomb into outer space before it can detonate. Unfortunately, when the bomb explodes, it breaks the 'Phantom Zone', releasing 3 imprisoned Kryptonian criminals. They have powers similar to Superman and head towards Earth to enslave the humankind. They get aided by the planet's most arrogant criminal, Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey), who intends to smoke out his arch-rival Superman. Superman also makes the mistake of sacrificing his powers for the sake of leading a normal life with Louis Lane. Can Superman now defeat the 3 villains who are armed with identical powers to his own?
