Two for Texas

In 1836, 2 escaped convicts Hugh Allison (Kristofferson, Blade) and Son Holland (Bairstow, The Postman) flee the brutality of a Louisiana penal colony, heading west to join Texan Sam Houston's (Skerritt, ex-sheriff on TV's Picket Fences) army to fight against Mexico's overwhelming forces. Spurred on by Houston's promise of 640 acres of land for each soldier upon victory, the 2 fugitives trade stolen horses for supplies to equip them for their arduous journey to Texas. But the severe hardships of the road pale in comparison to the savage hell that awaits them in the Mexican-American War.
