Udhaar Ki Zindagi

Sitaram (Jeetendra) is an autocratic head of the family. He has fixed his son Vasudev’s marriage but Vasudev loves another woman, Suman. Sitaram tells Vasudev to forget Suman, and get married to the woman he has chosen for him. Vasudev rebels and gets married to Suman, and brings her home to seek the blessings from the family. While rest of the family welcomes Suman, Sitaram does not except her as a part of his family. Vasudev and Suman leave the family house and move to the U.S. After many years, Sitaram receives a letter informing him that Vasudev and his family are planning to visit them in India. Sitaram looks forward to meet his son and his family after all these years. He gets furious when he finds out that Vasudev and Suman are too busy and only Sita, his granddaughter, would be coming over. Bitter memories form the past came back haunting Sitaram. Sitaram denies to except the gift sent by Vasudev that Sita has brought along with her. This is when he gets to know the reason behind Vasudev’s absence.
